Ephesians 3:14-19 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;
That ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

DAY 4—“What must I do to receive eternal life?”
Some people want to be religious, but they look for loopholes in God ’s Law. That’s what the lawyer who talked with Jesus was doing. He was interested in how his religion made him look in the eyes of others. When God’s Love is at work in us, it won’t be necessary for us to try and make ourselves look good before others.

Luke 10:25-29—And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted Him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the Law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself. And He said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbor? NIrV—One day an authority on the law stood up to put Jesus to the test. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to receive eternal life?” “What is written in the Law?” Jesus replied. “How do you understand it?” He answered, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Love Him with all your strength and with all your mind.’ ( Deut 6:5) And, ‘Love your neighbor as you Love yourself.’ “( Lev 19:18) “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do that, and you will live.” But the man wanted to make himself look good. So he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
LORD, I’ve been too busy lately to know my neighbor. Please help me to begin Loving people, even when it’s not convenient, even when it costs me time and money. Set me free from this selfishness that has been creeping in upon me lately. Open my eyes to see my neighbor. And show me how I can let Your Love move through meand bring blessing to someone I may never have known before.
It was Gods love for us that sent His
Son into the world to die for us.John 3:13-21
